The book's deadline is this Friday. For the last ten-ish days, I’ve been busy almost non-stop editing, correcting, designing, and illustrating the entire book. And going back and forth over the title. And the cover.
God, the title and the cover. I haven’t even updated you guys on those yet. After a long series of debates, a web survey, and a couple of impaired nights of sleep, I called it:
Being Creative is the Easy Part
Unexpected Skills and Strategies for Success in the Creative Industry
So, indeed, no more Designer Rehab. Better late than never, but that title had to go. I didn’t feel it. It was too vague. The publisher was dead set on having the word ‘Designer’ in the title, so we arrived at this one because we ran out of other options, but, you know. Meh. Let’s not waste any more words on it.
On to the matter at hand. Here it is—the book—in all of its 216-page-long glory:
I know you can’t see much from that screenshot. The point, of course, is that you’ll buy the book for full price when it hits the shelves in October.
Fine, I’ll share a page or two:

Anyway, today, I’m sending the “final” PDF over to the publisher’s one-man production department. They’ll check it for technical flaws and major errors, give me some time to fix those, and then it’s off to the printer.
What’s next?
Not sure. I’m tired. I’m in the attic. It’s hot. But I’m happy.
Talk soon.
I am very proud of you! I can't wait to have a physical copy in my hands 📙.
